i will be gone on vacation next week.


i will be back with MANY pictures and stories i am sure of that.

poor cookie-wookie

poor little man.
cookie was playing under Lauren's trampoline saturday afternoon
and i heard him barking and looking under the trampoline.
i figured he was barking at the pad straps that were hanging down.
but he was barking at a WASP nest.
i got up to go see right before the wasp came down and STUNG him not once but twice.
once on each side of his nose.
with in an hour his nose was swollen.
i washed it off and looked for the sing sites but found nothing.
i checked on him sunday morning and the swelling was way down.

now just to get him to learn from this.....

my new love

this was the moon the other night. i find the moon so amazing.

the colors it reflects, the way it pulls the tides here on earth.

i really like to watch it cross the skies.

when i am outside she starts making this funny noise and i go and talk to her.
now only if she was not an ass so i can saddle her up and ride her.

#1 fact : i really do love pigs, but there was a moment a few years back that i was overwhelmed with piggys.





#2 fact: i gave up all my friends once i got married. ALL OF THEM. there was not room in my life for certain folks and how i am finding new friends and i have a BFF that i adore.

busy weekend

well CHOMAS, i raised the bar and went over......

i completed 20 layouts saturday and 15 random cards, 5 more rolodex cards and worked on my disney album.

i will not go into details of the crappy weekend but it's monday and a new start.

when pigs fly?

thoughts for tuesday

well i got an awesome little point and shoot camera for mother' day.

sometimes life is not all you thought it would be, but things happen for a reason and you grow stronger.

some people need to blog.

some people don't need to blog.

i am getting into a nother circle journal and it's gonna be awesome!

sunburn still hurts like hell. but today i smell like a vanilla/aloe plant

11 days of school left for lauren.

12 days before WDW trip and i get to see chip and dale....

yesterday was as expected. but i did get some beautiful flowers from Lauren and a check from Fred to go get my camera today.

and yes i was outside from about 11:00 to about 4:00, Lauren wanted to swim so why not?
we got dressed and headed to the back yard, but what did we forget, SUNSCREEN!!!!!!!!!!!
both she and i are burnt, she has a darker skin color then me and she is rose colored, but me?



RED.
so yeah, summer is here. YUCK!

and the plans for this weekend

afterwork lauren and i go shopping for mother's day gifts and birthday gifts.

saturday:
work cows, well move them from one pasture to another across the road
11:00-1:00 a birthday party
2:00 to 4:00 another birthday party
and if time allows we go to the state park to visit with MIL and nephews birthday party

sunday:
go to church and i really want the afternoon to do NOTHING or scrapbook .....



we shall see how it goes

Friday:went to work .the porter was out because of personal reasons.made a deal, i washed the one car that was ready for delivery and i can leave at 2i washed and left at 2 for the scrapbook store.it was nice to just play all afternoon.lori showed up at 5:30ish and we cropped till about 7:30 and went to eat and have a drink.then back to the store and i left for home at 11:25 pm.great night. really enjoyed it and i won a door prize!saturday:lauren woke up early.we got dressed and went to academy and shopped some.meet with dad and mrs. peggy at O'Charley's .they gave lauren a WATER CANNON......... and i was given a FLYING PIG! i have to find the right spot to hang it. a bird house shaped like a flying pig. thanks dad i love it!we went to wal mart and shopped a bit more then went home.sunday:went to church and ate chinese.then the FUN PART>>>>we worked cows for about 4 hours.i have to say this is why i LOVE living in the country and have critters to help take care of.we have to vacinate a few, well all but a few calves that are going to the sell.i love to be in the mix with them, totally love the working girl power i get hollaring and pushing some cattle around. and i checked in on Wart, he looks right at home with the big girls.....when we got done, we went to get pizza.over all it was a great weekend.now today i am back at work. looking forward to cleaning the house, because iut needs it.have a great week guys.

yep the weather is a changing'.
it's humid and getting nasty warm.
i hate summer but love the summer afternoons.

nothing much going on other then the same old rat race.

i am going crop with a friend Friday night and hope to get my scrapping mojo back, and Saturday dad's coming through town.

i really want to go ahead and make plans for the august scrapfest in san antonio but i doubt i will be able to make it, but i will turn my focus to a march 2009 crop here in town.

i hope to get alot of ladies here in town one weekend in march and feed them till the pop.
and i think i will have a secret person comming.....hummm, makes ya wonder huh?

hi there!

what a good weekend.

friday night we hung around the house and watched STAR WARS. how funny it is to see lauren watch a movie i enjoyed as a small child. she loves chewie! (he was my favorite too!)

saturday we slept in and went to the movie to watch NIM'S ISLAND. what a great movie. i enjoyed it. then after we went shopping for WDW clothes. well, I did. i got all shorts and a few skorts and shirts. next weekend i think fred is gonna go shopping for his and then we have to shop for lauren.....

sunday we went to church and JESSE DUPLANTIS was preaching. it was nice to hear him and i got a lot out of his surmon. then we went to eat at lauren's favorite place, MCALISTER's, i hate that place, only because you have to wait 20 minutes for a freaking sandwich and they changed up the menu and the one i loved is no longer on the menu, but lauren likes it is all that matters.

we got home and i mowed and fred did too, lauren and i jumped on the trampoline and i double bounced her and her knee hit her nose! she is fine now, but i got scared she broke her nose.

we watch the last episode of star wars and got ready for bed.

i actually cleand out my prima flowers, geez! i got a lot of flowers. and this week i plan on hitting the pattern paper and sorting through that. i need to condense my stuff so that i can scrapbook more and stop buying.

i need to stop collecting paper too. that's a big problem with me.

i am doing good on my 150 layouts challenge i am at 25 right now and it's great. i want to be able to get a new desk or paint the old on i have.

well that's about it for now. i have to get back to work and try to make some money.

see ya soon, i hope to blog everyday this week, but we will see about that.

oh and i wanted to share this layout i did of my dad.

well i am really sick of being sick.

2 more days of wrk missed and i am still not outta the woods today.
the thought of eating makes me gag. i have drank at least 5 gallons of
water in the past two days and a case of 7 up.
and a box of crackers.

but at least lauren is better, it sucks feeling sick and having to take care of a sick kid too.
at least her's passed quick and she wanted to go visit mimi tuesday.
yesterday i washed all the bed sheets and lysoled the whole house.
i scrubbed all the tubs and cleans everything she and i might have touched and replaced the tooth brushes.

yesterday once that was all done i relaxed and watched some tv. then at 2:30 had to go get her from school.
we then went to the hospital to go see wayne. he had two more stints put in his heart. at 5:45 he was out and the doctor said all went well. we went into recovery to go see him and he looked good.

he will be home today.

i just home i can make it through the day with out something oozing out.

at least it's thursday. 1 dayto go

as of this morning i took my final dose and looking forward to creating new eating habits and adjusting my lifestyle to boost immunity. 14 days with out a coke, cherry coke but i cheated saturday with one.

I still don't have a clue were this crap came from, but i would hate for it to come back. which is possible.

but i really need to eat "more" healthy. like more fruits and veggies.

less gluten products and less fried foods.

medical news: i am feeling a little better. the med's are still kicking my butt , only 7-8 more days.
