hi there!

what a good weekend.

friday night we hung around the house and watched STAR WARS. how funny it is to see lauren watch a movie i enjoyed as a small child. she loves chewie! (he was my favorite too!)

saturday we slept in and went to the movie to watch NIM'S ISLAND. what a great movie. i enjoyed it. then after we went shopping for WDW clothes. well, I did. i got all shorts and a few skorts and shirts. next weekend i think fred is gonna go shopping for his and then we have to shop for lauren.....

sunday we went to church and JESSE DUPLANTIS was preaching. it was nice to hear him and i got a lot out of his surmon. then we went to eat at lauren's favorite place, MCALISTER's, i hate that place, only because you have to wait 20 minutes for a freaking sandwich and they changed up the menu and the one i loved is no longer on the menu, but lauren likes it is all that matters.

we got home and i mowed and fred did too, lauren and i jumped on the trampoline and i double bounced her and her knee hit her nose! she is fine now, but i got scared she broke her nose.

we watch the last episode of star wars and got ready for bed.

i actually cleand out my prima flowers, geez! i got a lot of flowers. and this week i plan on hitting the pattern paper and sorting through that. i need to condense my stuff so that i can scrapbook more and stop buying.

i need to stop collecting paper too. that's a big problem with me.

i am doing good on my 150 layouts challenge i am at 25 right now and it's great. i want to be able to get a new desk or paint the old on i have.

well that's about it for now. i have to get back to work and try to make some money.

see ya soon, i hope to blog everyday this week, but we will see about that.

oh and i wanted to share this layout i did of my dad.

well i am really sick of being sick.

2 more days of wrk missed and i am still not outta the woods today.
the thought of eating makes me gag. i have drank at least 5 gallons of
water in the past two days and a case of 7 up.
and a box of crackers.

but at least lauren is better, it sucks feeling sick and having to take care of a sick kid too.
at least her's passed quick and she wanted to go visit mimi tuesday.
yesterday i washed all the bed sheets and lysoled the whole house.
i scrubbed all the tubs and cleans everything she and i might have touched and replaced the tooth brushes.

yesterday once that was all done i relaxed and watched some tv. then at 2:30 had to go get her from school.
we then went to the hospital to go see wayne. he had two more stints put in his heart. at 5:45 he was out and the doctor said all went well. we went into recovery to go see him and he looked good.

he will be home today.

i just home i can make it through the day with out something oozing out.

at least it's thursday. 1 dayto go

it's OVER....

after 14 agonizing days of medicine and antibiotics, i am DONE!

1000 mg biaxin

60 mg prevacid

all in one days dose!

as of this morning i took my final dose and looking forward to creating new eating habits and adjusting my lifestyle to boost immunity. 14 days with out a coke, cherry coke but i cheated saturday with one.

I still don't have a clue were this crap came from, but i would hate for it to come back. which is possible.

but i really need to eat "more" healthy. like more fruits and veggies.

less gluten products and less fried foods.

medical news: i am feeling a little better. the med's are still kicking my butt , only 7-8 more days.

1. you are never going to get along with EVERYONE. i just need to accept those that i don't get along with and move on. who knows one day we might need each other.

tuesday update

i still hurt like heck. just waiting on blood and urine test to come back.

i am do with message board life. i am leaving a home that i have had for 3 years and looking for an apartment. LMAO.

after all these years i have made wonderful friends and buddies i will love forever.

i will be posting my layouts on my loricre8's blog while i look for a new place.

i will miss scrapjazz, i will miss my friends, but enough is enough and a new page in life is about to be turned.
this is is no flipping back.

SJ is a great place. but we are no devils like another blogger from SJ said the other day. that was so silly.

even tho we have are fights and hair flips there is a reason we love SJ, it's home.

i love you guys, but i really need to get back to life. not that it was taken away from but YKWIM...

tuesday thoughts

1. i hate the on come of spring. the muggy weather and knowing that the hot summer is but a month away.
2. looking forward to Lori coming over to the house Friday night.
3. i need to stay away from SJ, too addicted.
4. i wonder what terry is doing right now? she just popped in my head.
5. wonder if i can sneak in to lauren's room saturday and clean it up. possible throw some junk out?
6. i am hoping fred get released to go back to work this week.
7. i need to eat that cream cheese in the ice box...before it goes bad.
8. wonder if it's warm in florida?
9. getting excited about the trip in may to WDW.
10. and so EXCITED lauren is sleeping in her own bed! WOO HOO! side note: her bed is in our bedroom...

well got back sunday afternoon.
totally , TOTALLY awesome time.

in a nut shell:

got to lori's house friday morning and we headed out to houston IAH! got there way early and enjoyed a beer to take the edge off the nervousness.

lesle met us there and we went and ate at chili's. then off to denver!
great flight. landed in denver. where's the snow? none to be seen.
enjoyed the lay over and at at a tex-mex place in the airport. called cheri p and was told ashley s was delayed like 4 hours! OMG! poor honey.

went to the gate and waited for the SAC trip. we met JAMES and cool guy that was listening in to our conversation. his wife knitts. so he knew about us scrapbookers.

on the plane ride, there was some AF guys heading out for training and one poor guy fell asleep. well, they jacked with his face on the plane. lmao.


got to cali and cheri and Amy picked us up.
totally awesome to see cheri again. i love that woman.

went to cheri's work to get our scrap crap box and stop for beer. (baby beer)
and then off to patti's house. wow! what a neighborhood.
she was so awesome to open her house to us and threa a wonderful welcoming party.
omg! i saw girls i thought i would never meet. JES, ERINJ, DEANNA, STEPHANIE H, JENK, THERESA

just fantastic time.

we did not get much sleep friday night so i woke up early and took the first show of the day. yeah for me i had hot water!
Monika, Lori and i went to the store to help patti set up. that was so cool to set up and see the store first hand. i was blown away by the product and supplies. total scrapbook heaven.

about 12ish cheri had to go to her house and i rode with her and she took me to FOLSOM prison. wow! now that we neat. so old and just wonderful. and for the record johnny cash never spent time at the prison other then to have concerts. Cheri and i did not know!

so back to the store and more scrapping and visiting. when i left with Cheri there was half a try left of won tons. when i got back there was only 7 left. that Lori jack ate them all.

we did challenge and door prizes.

it got tense for a while but i will not remember the time of stupidity, because that is what it was, but i will forever remember those lovely ladies and the awesome trip to California to see my friends for the Internet.

i mean where what would i be doing if it was not for those friends. my buddies my pals.
it may be spastic. but they are my spazz's.

oh and California in February....cold and rainy. but so worth the adventure.

only a 48 hours till i get to houston and then to california.

this was a great weekend. friday we hung out at home. saturday we hung out more and then went to eat chili at robert and ana's. then the storm blew in, WOW ! that was freaky. sunday was a pretty awesome day. went to church and then to eat CHINESE and then to sam's the get snacks for lauren's snack day on the 20th. we (me and lauren) went mud riding in the fields and played with cookie. and seeded plants...

that's it , now i just sit and wait......wait for friday.......i have a feeling this week is going to go by slooooowww.

Mardi gras 2008

Amist the rumors of rain and the HUMID air we went to the children's mardi gras parade yesterday afternoon.

it was nice and lauren is now old enough to know not to go in to the street.

she was so excited.....and as you can tell fred too.....
