i am still here

wow! long time...
i have been so busy with work, but this month is going to suck when i close it tomarrow..oh well,

nothing good or bad going on...just everyday life.

i hvae been planing christmas, yes i am a early geek, but if you know me i am anal about being early...i hate being late...

i was going to post some pictures here, but blogger is not letting me, oh well, i will try later.

well it another thursday....humberto hit last night and man, some people are crazy.....i can understand the schools being c losed but some business' were closed....and our local news, goodness, they were talking like it was a cat 5... just some rain and light winds....no big deal.


anyway big plans to crop with lori friday night and i am looking forward to that.....fun, FUN!

lauren gets her first big teal hunt saturday morning with fred and wayne, she is so excited. i wonder what time they will call me to go get her....she is going to be so pumped to see the birds...

watch out hunters, there is a new HUNTER in town..... fred took lauren hunting saturday...her first dove hunt. fred has not been hunting in years then all of a sudden he is stocking up on ammo and getting his hunting license...and there is lauren wanting to go along with Dada to kill some birds. she was all GUNG -HO till she noticed that she had to walk, and walk alot. she had a great time and her fanny pack was full of toys and snacks.

she is looking forward to duck season. and she is already asking is there is a rabbit season....i told her rabbit season is after the first frost and you have to eat what you kill. so she is not keen on killing anything anymore, but i think if fred brings home a dove she will try it.

she has to wait till she is 8 i think to go thru hunters safety....wonder if she will be still a hunter at age 8? time will tell, but i love this picture of her....

Monday FIL came home with a beautiful horse named HOT ROD. (Lauren named him Tom) he was a gift to all the grand-girls since all of them love horses, but i think Lauren worked her charm on him....

he was really too tall and he was stubborn as a mule. i liked his personality. he was gentle as long as the reins were not on. so he is to call the guy back today for selling him a stubborn horse. and see about getting another one that we can ride.

scrapnovice was in town

yeap that New York girl came to Louisiana. i am sitting here thinking she must have lost some weight while she was here, because she did not eat a whole lot, if anything.....

we had a great time.

i arrived 1 hour early at Hobby airport in houston.

she got there early.

we had lunch at pei wei's and met monak2 and went to maridawn's.....that store rocks.

that night we at a local resturant and she TRIED alligator......

tuesday we went to Sulphur and met up with lori jack. kristin rode the "pink pig" and tried boudin, again that face proved dis pleasure.lol.

from there we headed soth to holly beach and saw the gulf, and the damages still around from hurricane rita. ( you know that other storm). later that night lori came over just as the AC went out. man it was so freakin HOT

wednesday we drove south of Baton Rouge and went to see some Plantations.....very nice drive and loved the whole trip. we had mint julieps and ate very well. i had Gumbo and she ate a chicken po-boy.

thursady we hung out at the house and went to town shopping a bit.

friday i droped her off at our lovely airport for her to get a rental car and she drove back to houston and she ate dinner with Erin and went to archiever's.

i had a great vacation and enjoyed my time with her. lauren loves her bunches and ask if she comes back will she bring the boys....and kristin created a CRICUT nut! lauren has been telling us for weeks that is what she wants for christmas.....thanks

had a great week with kristin here! loved showing her around my state.

my paw paw passed away on the 17 of august and he is resting in peace.

my mom is trying to deal with the loss of her father and it's a hard time for her right now.

back at work trying to get back into the swing of things.....slowly...

Running with the Pigs

omg! i love piggy, collect them and they are all over my house. but since saturday night i will never be able to look at my piggy's the same.....

on the way back to the store from eating at a bbq joint we decided to go and take pictures with these pigs that are in this field next to the interstate. then we see this sign that says private property no trespassing....oh no we are going to get in trouble....so Lori jack decides to jump the gate and run for the pigs, Ashley s is tripping out about going to jail should the cops come, and Patti is laughing her ass off at Lori "porking" the pig..... oh my gawd, we all about peed in our pants. then Patti, Monika and i dared to run out there and give it a go......then Patti takes off like a bat outta hell toward the truck and she is a track star.....hauling ass! all i can here is christy yelling "look at patti run" so funny.

so were all get back to the store and amynnn tells us that it's okay to take pictures with the pigs....so much for that adventure, but so funny and fun, i WILL NEVER forget the day we

friends? naw i would say long lost family! jim and christy were awesome. what a great pair of jokers. i was scared to meet christy and nervous about the "GUNS", but they made me well welcome and so nice...christy popped my bra after only a few minutes at the store, jim signed my ball jacket and i got flashed on the first night....but they will deny....but i did.... and monika "mom" gave me the ad of jim and got him to sign it....way cool!

one day florida will be visited by Lori #1 and i will have to make a trip to see my new buddies. i love you two very much. and i miss y'all dearly

weekend part 1

Awesome!

lorijack and i drove up to Dallas friday morning! great drive up there! we even drove by texas stadium, but troy was not there...LMAO...

then to the store: BLOWN AWAY! totally, totally wonderful to see all the ladies from last year and all the new ones....then kristin stock is sitting her ass right there and i did not see her! i was shocked.

then i got to finally meet my Mom and my Auntie Cheri....love them two ladies....they rocked my world.

seeing everyone was over whelming. i was in awe at the emotions i was feeling.

we picked up Oscar at the airport friday night and that was a chore in it self. leslie rode with us and i was so nice to meet and chat with her. then i had to keep kristin a secret from oscar till we got back to the store...that was a chore in it self.

awesome to see those two together.
