mardi gras weekend

we traveled to Lafayette this weekend. for years my dad has invited us to go there for mardi gras, well, this year we went. SO glad we did, a great time we had also.

this weather

stinks....yesterday: rain....i love rain but it was a hard nasty, humid rain...
today: overcast and humid as all get out, supposed to rain tonight and start to get cooler again.
then reinforcing cool fronts trough out the weekend...i hope it does not rain on us Saturday at the parades....*crossing fingers*

pigs and more PIGS

so cute! we attended the southwest Louisiana livestock show and rodeo on friday night. we got there hours early to see the show animals...i love looking at the pigs...the sheep and goats were taken home already

slack blogger: i managed to master all 5 of my guitar hero games on medium, now on to hard.
that's kewl! i think so anyways.

the deck will be finished next week. that is another kewl thing going on!
