hello 2008

we had a great new years eve.

lots of firecrackers and family around.

my goals for 2008.
spend more time with fred and lauren (then scrapping)
lose those "lauren" pounds that keep hanging around.
run the 5k on st.patricks day.
and be a happier person in general.

have a blessed new years everyone. it's a fresh start

out with the old

good bye 2007.
it was a great year and a sad one all in one.

sad that i lost a grandfather that i was not very close to.
sad that my brother moved his kids to another state.
sad that the house moving bastard still owes us money.

good that fred, lauren and i have our health
good that we know are home owners with two paid off vehicles.
good that we have a pet we love.
good that i met some pretty amazing ladies in august.
good that i have great hopes for 2008.
good that WDW is only 5 months away.
and good that i have a best friend that i love with all my heart.

hats off to 2007. bring on 2008.

the day after

yeah i gotta work, and poor Fred has to stay with Lauren and play with all her new toys.
she had a wonderful Christmas day.
i can not begin to list all the toys and gadgets she got but she loves them all.

we celebrated christmas at my dad's this past weekend.

we had a great time.

fred got some Mickey mouse pj's and a gift card to academy.

i got a but load of QK dies! i love them ! woo hoo! thanks dad and ms. peggy!!!!!!!

lauren got a razor scooter, a mio dog, pj's, monkey's in the tree game, a tink blanket, hat and gloves.

we had a wonderful time in texas and i was able to visit with mona too. thanks for lunch mona!

13 days till

CHRISTMAS....fa la la la la la la la laaaaa.

good ness. i have finished all my shopping but forgot about a few things for lauren.

you ask her " lauren what do you want santa to bring you?"

she says" my november barbie." and that's it.
so i got that barbie and a v-tech handheld for the car trips and a few games. some special panties for her stocking and small stuff. she has everything a 6 year could want and more.
i am just blessed she has and not wants.
